Why are you Southern Baptist?
We are Baptist because we believe the Scriptures to be inspired by God and that everything in the Bible is trustworthy. We also believe that the only way to eternal salvation is by repenting (turning away) of sin and turning to Jesus. This is done, not by what we do, but by accepting the free gift that Jesus gave us by taking our place for the punishment of our sins and making Him Lord (boss) of our life.
We believe baptism to be the first sign of obedience to our new life in Christ. Baptism does not save you, but it does declare your commitment to Christ.
We are Southern Baptist because we believe in joining other like-minded churches from around the world and combining our resources through the Cooperative Program to help spread the Gospel (Good News!) of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world.
What is the Cooperative Program?
In simple terms, it is a program where all Southern Baptist churches give money voluntarily to a central organization (the Souther Baptist Convention) to be distributed to the work of Jesus Christ. Such works include international missions, North American missions, seminaries, the Ethics & Religious Liberties Council and more.
You can learn more about the Cooperative Program by visiting www.sbc.net/cp/.
How should I dress for your worship service?
It's up to you, really. We have people who come in jeans and a t-shirt while others show up in a suit and tie. We are more interested in having you there than in what you wear.
What do you mean by blended music style?
The Bible says that we are to sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19) . We believe that includes songs directly from God's Word, songs that people have sung over the centuries and songs that are being created today. By singing songs from the past to today, we connect with people from the past and help pave the way for those in the future.
Do you have childcare?
Yes! We have a nursery for infants and toddlers. You are welcome to drop off your child knowing that the person(s) watching your child has been through a background check and loves to be around children.
Do you have children's church?
Yes! We offer children's church to those in Kindergarten and under. We dismiss for children's church about halfway through the regular worship service. There are 2 volunteers that will be with your child(ren) who have undergone a background check and who desire to see your child(ren) grown in the understanding of the Bible.
Do you have something for youth?
Yes! We have a program called B.A.S.I.C. C.R.E.W. for youth in grades 7-12. We meet Thursday evenings from 6-7:45 pm. There are 3 adults involved with the program who have undergone background checks and have a desire to see these youth prepared to face adulthood with a strong foundation in Christ.

If you desire to just use our facilities, please contact the church to see what requirements the church has.
Do you rent out your facilities?
We don't usually rent out our facilities. However, we are interested in helping biblically-based ministries succeed and be a part of our community. If you would like us to consider hosting an event for you or your organization, please contact the church.
